From Sept. 29 through Oct. 5, the Saratoga Police Department responded to 79 calls including the following classifications:

Ambulance (5); assault (1); bar check (1); business checks (28); citizen assist (3); civil standby (1); dog at large (1); dog impounded (1); dog tag (1); fingerprints (3); found property (1); hot pool check (5); litter, pollution, public health (2); lost and found (2); lost property (1); traffic accident with damage (3); house watch (1); recovered stolen property (1); school zones (3); trespassing (1); unwanted person (1); utility problem (2); VIN serial inspection (5); welfare check (2).

A total of 37 homes are currently on our House Watch program and one person is on the Home Alone program.

Sept. 30

Mac Diaz Sanchez, of Saratoga, was given a warning for Stop Sign Violation

Oct. 5

Aaron Ruiz, of Saratoga, was arrested for DUI.

Santos Escobedo, of Saratoga, was issued a verbal warning for dog at large.
