Wishing snowbirds well

There were six here to play Bingo this week. $2 winners were Madaline Forbes, Lila Worden, Pat Faust. Sue Howe won the $3 blackout round. Thanks to Madaline and Betty for watching my cards for me.

There were three full tables here for duplicate bridge on Monday. High winners were Pat Bailey & Mary Sjoden. Second high went to John Blue and Joni Johnson.

We will be having the flu shots up here on Oct. 14 from 9-11:30 a.m. If you do not have Medicare, Medicaid or Blue Cross insurance it will cost $25.

We hired Cynthia Talbott to do the cleaning for us. We are all looking forward to working with her.

We will be having our birthday dinner on Friday Oct. 17. Please be sure and mark your calender and come join us.

We have received word that Millie Anderson had moved to Thornton Colo. to be with a niece. We wish her well.

Pat Faust is home from the hospital. We all want to wish her a speedy recovery. Also, it is good to have Don Goodspeed back on our delivery list.

Most of our snowbirds have left for warmer weather. We will miss them and be looking forward to seeing them when the warmer weather returns.

We want to give a big thank you to the Old Baldy Club. Each year, they bring us all there leftover food when they close for the season. We always enjoy the extra fresh fruit and vegetables. And all the other wonderful stuff they bring us.
