Shirley Jo An Goodspeed, 78, of Saratoga, passed away Sept. 14, 2014. She was born June 15, 1936 in Campo, Colo., to parents Mayme (Burd) and Bert Stagner. In 1953, she married the love of her life, Don Goodspeed, Jr. and they began their life together in Springfield, Colo., After living in numerous places, they retired in Saratoga.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed Nascar racing and riding around in their golf carts.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Don Goodspeed, Jr .; three sons, Steve (Linda) Goodspeed, Don (Dene) Goodspeed and Greg (Kathy) Goodspeed; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bobby and Delaus Stagner; and two sisters, Lois Richardson and Myrna Pierson.
Following her wishes, no services will be held.
