Hawaiian shirt day a colorful hit

There were not enough to play Bingo this week.

Because of the holiday, there was no Bridge this week as well.

There were six of us here for the movie, “Nut Job”. We all enjoyed popcorn and just relaxed.

We had a big turnout for our Hawaiian shirt day. It was fun to see all the different colored shirts. One even had a Hawaiian hat. Several of the ladies wore there leis as well. I think they enjoyed it.

It was good to have Jack Riddick up here Friday. He and Curt Campbell had a very close excursion last Friday night. They both ended up in the hospital overnight. Thank goodness everything turned out well. They are both recovering.

We want to send our get well wishes to Misty Huntley Canaday. She is in the Salt Lake Hospital. We hope all is going well and she will be home soon.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to Brian Manley. His Mother passed away in California. All our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this hard time.

Also we want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Marilyn Starr who passed away earlier this week. She had been battling cancer for about four years. She will be missed by all of us who knew here. She was such a thoughtful lady.

Jane Fluty was in to work in the kitchen while I was gone yesterday. It sounds like they had a lot of fun while I was gone. I missed it, but thank you Jane.

Sue Morawski from the Nursing Home was here for the blood pressure checks. The seniors really enjoy her coming and we all want to say thank you to the nursing home for allowing her to come and do that for us. Thank you Sue for doing it.
