Book TV features local author

Local author, Lori Van Pelt, will be featured on C-SPAN’s Book TV.

Van Pelt will appear in the Casper coverage on Aug 16-17, and Cheyenne coverage for Sept. 6 and 7 .

She discussed a number of the profiles in her book Capital Characters of Old Cheyenne, while on location at various historic places in the city.

“Appearing on Book TV is a great honor for me,” Van Pelt said, “and I’m grateful to receive such impressive recognition. I had a marvelous time on location in Cheyenne, and the producer who conducted my interview was very articulate and well-prepared.”
