Eighty golfers from across Wyoming participated in the 19th annual Cow Pie Open Golf Classic tournament in Encampment Saturday.

According to event organizer Jim McKinney, the tournament, its 20 sponsors and the fundraiser dinner brought in more than $2,300 for the Encampment FCCLA and ProStart. The tourney took place in a town cow pasture, with buckets set in the ground for holes, and the match was a blind draw.

As of press time, all but one of the winners had donated all or a portion of their winnings back to the beneficiary.
