Forest Road 100 to close for tree removal

Starting June 16, Forest Road 100, also known as North Brush Creek Road, on the Brush Creek-Hayden Ranger District of the Medicine Bow National Forest will be closed for hazard tree removal. Closures will occur Monday through Friday during operating hours with night and weekend openings. Road closure times are as follows, Monday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Friday 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The road will be closed in segments where timber removal is occurring. The first closure segment is between the junction with Forest Road 200 and the private land boundary at Tenmile. Closures will move north towards Turpin Reservoir. Progress will be dependent on snowmelt and ground conditions.
