Athletes receive All-State/All-Conference honors

The high schools from Saratoga, Encampment and Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow (HEM) boasted a plethora of All-State and All-Conference athletes from the 2014 high school track season.

The students received the honors from both the Wyoming High School State Track Tournament in Casper, and their respective regional competitions. For Saratoga High School, All-State athletes included Hunter Mason, Ben Falk, Alex Ziegler and Cameron Collamer from the 1600 meter relay team, which placed first at state with a time of 3:32.09. This time broke the 2012 Saratoga High School boys’ 1600 meter relay record of 3:32.25.

Several All-Conference Panthers came out of the regional competition in Torrington. Earners were Mason (third place in the 100 meter dash, second in the 200 meter dash, second in the 400 meter relay and first in the 1600 meter relay), Ben Falk (first in the long jump, second in the 400 meter dash and first in the 1600 meter relay), Seth Harrison (second in the 400 meter relay), Tate Stinson (second in the 400 meter relay), Alex Ziegler (second in the 400 meter relay and first in the 1600 meter relay), and Rodrigo Escobedo (first in the 1600 meter relay).
