Power Company of Wyoming (PCW) LLC has submitted its application to the Wyoming Industrial Siting Division, to construct and operate the Chokecherry and Sierra Madre (CCSM) Wind Energy Project.
According to PCW, the CCSM Project in Carbon County consists of 1,000 wind turbines, capable of generating up to 3,000 MW of clean and renewable wind energy. Under Wyoming law, PCW must obtain a permit from the Industrial Siting Council, because the CCSM Project is a commercial project that will generate electricity from wind and consists of more than 30 turbines.
