The American Legion Post #54 in Saratoga and Veterans of Foreign Wars #6125 in Encampment are hosting Memorial Day services to honor the fallen soldiers of wars past and present.
The American Legion’s service begins at 11 a.m. at the Valley Chapel at the Saratoga Cemetery. After the ceremony, a lunch will be served at the post home on East Bridge Ave.
The VFW’s service also begins at 11 a.m. at the Encampment Cemetery.
The Hanna Basin Historical Society and Carbon Cemetery Association will hold a Memorial Day service at 2 p.m. at the Hanna Cemetery.
