Sue from over at the nursing home is coming over once a month to do the blood pressure checks for us. The seniors really do appreciate them letting her come over and check blood pressures. And we all enjoy Sue.

We will be closed on May 26 to observe the Memorial Day weekend. If you need an extra meal for that Monday please let us know by Thursday so we can get them ready to go out with the Friday meals. We will be open as usual on Tuesday.

We have having the Jam sessions again for the summer. The next one will be on June 3. Please make plans to come up at 6 p.m. and enjoy the music. The players have so much fun, and the audience always has just as much fun listening to them.

We had our birthday anniversary dinner Friday. Those having birthdays this month are, Sue Bartlett, John D’Amico, Ed Howe, Mary Sjoden, Doris Miller Lynda Healey, Tom McGuire, Carole Ward and April Verplancke. Mary Sjoden won the birthday money. Teense and Sandy Willford celebrated their anniversary with us this month. Teense was here to do the entertainment. He was great as usual. And we all enjoyed him.

Your time is running out to send in the property tax relief papers. You have until June 2 to fill them out and get them sent in. If you did not receive your form in the mail please come up and get one. You can get a partial refund on your taxes if you qualify.

It is nice to have the snowbirds coming back. This week Janet Lasco made her way back. Also Curt Campbell has returned as well. Good to have you both back.

We want to send our get well wishes to Karlene Sjoden. She has been sick with the flu the past couple of weeks. We hope she is getting well and will be back with us real soon. We miss her up here.

We want to extend our sincere sympathy to the families of Phyllis Henderson and Jim Davis. Both of these great people passed away this past week. They will both be missed by all of us who knew them.
