Schwartzkopf strikes gold in Lusk

Saratoga High School junior Braxton Schwartzkopf swung his way to first place at last weekend's Lusk Invitational golf tournament.

Schwartzkopf earned his gold with a score of 78, and placed sixth at the previous invite in Lander. Chaze Wiant placed sixth with a score of 83 in Lander, and made the top 25 in Lusk from a 115 score.

Up next for the two Panthers is the 2A Conference Tournament Friday and Saturday in Evanston. Results from the Lusk and Lander invites are shown below:

Lusk Invitational- May 10

Braxton Schwartzkopf- 78 (first place)

Chaze Wiant- 115 (made the top 25)

Lander Invitational- May 2

Braxton Schwartzkopf- 83 (sixth place)

Chaze Wiant- 116
