Jon Thomas Slater, aged 51, of Pleasanton, Kan., passed away April 20, 2014. He was born Feb. 8, 1963, at Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Paul and Barbara Thomas Slater.
Jon was the brother of Saratoga resident Jane Huntley.
He married Linda Probasco on Aug. 8, 1986. She preceded him in death on March 23, 2010.
He later married Michelle Staton on April 6, 2013.
Jon worked as a welder for SPX Cooling Technologies. He was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Rod Slater.
