Five Jr. wrestlers earn state top three

Five Saratoga Wrestling Club (WC) grapplers made their way to the top-three at the 2014 Wyoming Amateur Wrestling Association (WAWA) Kids State Championships in Casper.

The team's first-place earners from the event, which took place April 16-19 at the Casper Events Center, were folkstyle wrestlers Koye Gilbert and Wyatt Carricato. Gilbert earned first in the Intermediate 112-pound division, while Carricato earned first in the Cadet 100-pound division.

Others in the top-three were Dalton Peterson, Thomas Ingleby and Ashten Hubbs, who as the team's lone female placer, earned third in the female bantam 50-pound division. Ingleby earned two placements in the top-three from both the folkstyle and freestyle competitions.
