Local churches hold Easter services

Easter is just around the corner, and several churches in the Platte Valley and Carbon county are holding special services

The Abundant Life Church will be holding Friday Night Services at 7 p.m. on April 18. They will also have their regular service on Sunday.

Aliens and Strangers, the Community Youth Group in Saratoga, is hosting A Good Friday Reflection at 7 p.m. featuring the film “The Cross”, The Youth Center is at 102 Cedar.

The Christian Community Church will hold a service at 6 a.m. on Easter Sunday at Grandview Park in Encampment.

Encampment Presbyterian Church will start their Easter celebrations on Thursday April 17 at 6 p.m. with the Last Supper service in their fellowship hall. They will also be hosting the Service Hand Bells Choir on Sunday at 10 a.m.

First Baptist Church in Saratoga will have their regular service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, however, they will not be holding an evening service on Easter.

Saratoga Alliance Church will be holding Easter Celebration, “I Know Your Name” at the Platte Valley Community Center beginning at 9:30 a.m.

St. Ann’s Catholic Church will hold several masses prior to Easter. On Thursday, they will hold mass at 6:30 p.m. and Good Friday Mass will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday’s Easter Vigil will be at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday’s Mass will be held at 9 a.m.

St. Barnabas Episcopal Church will be holding a service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday as well as their regular service on 9 a.m. Sunday.

St. James Episcopal Service will hold their Holy Eucharist at 9 a.m. Sunday.

Ride on Faith Ministries will have their Easter Mass and breakfast starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

The Saratoga Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be holding their regular services, starting at 10 a.m..

The Platte Valley Christian Center in Saratoga said they will be holding an Easter Breakfast at 9 a.m. and an evening service at 6 p.m.
