WGFD offers free workshop for online hunting licenses

The Laramie Regional Office of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) is offering a local workshop to help people apply for hunting licenses online.

“This year, Game and Fish has gone entirely to online applications for the draw, and most regional offices now have computers at the front desk where the public can get help applying online,” said Robin Kepple, Laramie Region Information Specialist. “However, we still get many frustrated people who don’t live in a town with a regional office, or need more assistance using the computer. So, we thought it would be helpful to offer workshops where people can come with all their information, and we could walk them step by step through the online portion of applying for their license.”

If anyone would like assistance applying online, attend the free workshop Monday, April 14 at Saratoga Town Hall, 110 E. Spring Ave. One may stop by anytime between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.

Participants should come with thier hunt areas and species picked out, sportsman ID or the last four of their social security number, and a credit card for online payment.

The seminar is free and open to people of all ages and skill levels. If you have questions, please contact the Laramie Regional Office at 307-745-4046.
