The American Legion Auxiliary recently met March 18 at the post home to discuss future and past activities.
Eight members were present at the meeting, where they were reminded about the Spring Conference for District 6 being held in Laramie on March 29, 2014 at the Veterans Center.
Besides attending to regular business, we heard final reports on the Fishing Derby and the Chariot Races. Fran Payne-Rogers gave a report on the silent auction held in February, 2014.
We looked at spreadsheets that Treasurer Donna Younger made showing different projects and how much money we have earmarked for each project. More discussion was held on helping with projects that the American Legion is working on around the post home.
On April 26 and 27, the Auxiliary members will be working on cleaning the kitchen at the post home. Any members interested in working on this project are welcome to join us.
