St. Patty's Day fun

Our coffee ladies are still drinking the coffee. The Domino players are still working on their wins following our last week’s winners, Phil Fleming, Ginny Riddick, Dick Blake, and Laura Rettelle.

The quilters started a new quilt this month. It is Lila Walbye’s, it is a bright and very colorful one. As for the puzzle well let’s just say it has been a great challenge. Nevertheless, they are chugging away at the 1000 piece puzzle.

News for the month: March looks to be a busy month.

Breakfast is at noon this month. Saturday breakfast at noon has been canceled due to outage of electricity.

Our council meeting has been changed to March 17 after lunch.

Our birthday evening meal is Friday the 21, no anniversary’s this month.

Our theme is “Luck of the Irish” so put your green on. Menu is corned beef and cabbage, parsley potatoes, wheat bread, Emerald pears, and green sherbet. We have started gentle exercise/yoga here at the center. It is Monday through Thursday, there is a correction on the time — it is 2-3 p.m. This will include stability, mobility, flexibility, pain relief, strengthening, aerobics, relaxation.

Thanks for all the encouragement we have been receiving on increasing the programs and activities for our community seniors. We hope we can encourage those who are not participating in our nutrition/activities program we give us the opportunity to serve you.
