Talk of the upcoming Sierra Madre Muzzleloaders Mountainman Rendezvous Thursday evening got Encampment Town Council members excited for summer.
Josh Saier, President of the Sierra Madre Muzzleloaders Rifle Club, asked the council Thursday for use of the land near the Grand Encampment Museum (GEM), and a regular contribution for the Mountainman Rendezvous. The American Old West-style shooting and throwing competition would take place July 25-27 this year.
