Lady Tigers split conference battles

 


Last weekend was a tough stretch of games for Encampment’s Lady Tigers, squeaking by Farson-Eden Saturday and falling to Cokeville the next day.

Head coach Amy Clay said Friday’s 36-35 conference victory over the Lady Pronghorns was a battle from the opening tip, which was a far cry from when the Lady Tigers pummeled them 48-31 in January.

“We were tied at 17 at the end of two, and we scored 13 in the second and 12 in the fourth,” she said. “We shot a season best 48 percent from the field and 60 percent from the line. It was a great team effort.”
