The Saratoga Speech and Debate Team brought home first place for 1A and 2A schools at its most recent competition in Jackson Friday and Saturday.
Aside from the first place win, the team also boasted several individual placements. Garrett Dale placed sixth in poetry, and other placing team members included Kaylyn Wessel and Becca Treat for finals, Gale Jackson for semi-finals humor and Leam Engel and Jacob Dickinson for semi-finals duet.
