Be prepared to test your trivia

Dominoes: Only three days last week did our Domino players play. Winners were Betty Merrill, Bill Telfer and Ginny Riddick.

We have been having a house full of coffee drinkers in the morning, Laura Rettelle, Patty Herring, Connie Beckham, Arleigh Summer, Karen Bibbern, Ellie Behrmann, LaDawn Vorn, Jo Bonnett, Dodey Brown. Special thanks to Ellie for helping me in the early morning shoveling the sidewalk.

They did not have enough Bridge players for Wednesday, however they did play Saturday after the breakfast at noon. The foursome on Saturday were, Vivian Campbell, Kay Fleming, Sheila Johnson, and Rosemary Craighead.

Quilters are almost finished with Mrs. Jo Roberson’s quilt, Nancy Lynch, Lila Walbye, Vonda Wieburg, Sandy Miller, Charlotte Kraft, Nan Busby, Betty Merrill, and Sandy Martin.

I missed one of our birthday girls last week in the newspaper for this month. Happy late birthday to Beverly Russell, so sorry I missed you. Despite the crazy weather Saturday we had a very nice turn out for breakfast at noon Saturday. Thanks for coming, you brave souls. Feb. 21 is the Birthday/Anniversary Dinner and the entertainment will be Mr. Phil Fleming, Dinner is at 6 p.m. I hope to see everyone there. We have started a new game this year at our Birthday/Anniversary Party (Trivia), the week of the evening meal I will give hints to the three trivia questions I will be asking. So here it goes, hint for #1- Presley, Tucker and Nelson, hint for #2-found in finer dining establishments, hint for #3- mixed drink without.
