County libraries 'get buggy with it'

Carbon County Library Systems has a wide range of happenings for the month of February.

The Library has announced their new winter program encouraging readers “get buggy about reading.” Starting on Feb. 24, readers of all ages can sign up for the program to read and earn a chance to win prizes. In the Kids (0-12) group, Kids who read 10 books or read 300 pages have an opportunity to choose a prize from their library’s treasure chest. Teens (11-18) who read a book and do a review will receive a prize and a chance to win a Hexburg Nano Glow in the Dark Start set. Adults (18+) who read and review a book will be placed in a drawing to win a mug full of winter treats.

In Riverside/Encampment, the book club will meet from 7 to 9 p.m on Feb. 20 at the Encampment/Riverside Library. They will be discussing Orphan Train by Christine Baker Kline.

At the Saratoga Library, there will be a week-long celebration of Valentine’s Day from Feb. 10 to Feb. 14. Adults (18+) will get to take home a “blind date” book by coming in and picking from a random selection of books.
