The upcoming United Blood Services blood drive was discussed at Thursday’s meeting of the Valley Service Organization (VSO), sponsor of the project.
The drive is scheduled from noon to 5:30 p.m., Jan. 28, in the Great Hall at the Platte Valley Community Center. Roxie Baldwin is chairman of the project.
Previous donors are now being contacted for appointments through emails and telephone calls, she said. Persons who wish to make an appointment and haven’t been contacted, or who wish to make sure their preferred time is available may also sign up online by logging on to www.bloodhero.com...
