VFW gives carnations

At Deseret Health and Rehab, residents enjoyed many activities last week.

On Christmas Day, residents enjoyed a sumptuous dinner of roast turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner roll, cranberry sauce, and apple pie. The turkey was donated by Suzie Cox. Our administrator, Tim Monroe, dressed as Santa Claus and passed out Christmas presents to residents after breakfast. Dick Ament from the Veterans of Foreign Wars passed out carnations to every resident after the Christmas presents were passed. Residents chose to watch the John Wayne movies on AMC throughout the day in the dining room.
