Gnome-makers gather at Saratoga Library

Children looking for a holiday-oriented craft have the opportunity to create personalized woodland gnome ornaments at the Saratoga Library.

All children ages 8 and above can come into the Saratoga Library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, and create their own colorful woodland gnomes to hang on holiday trees, set on fireplace mantels or accent holiday gifts. The event is free of charge.

“Children can paint and decorate the gnomes, and they can give them as a gift, hang on a tree or use to decorate a mantel,” said Kendra Graham, Digital Services Coordinator for the Carbon County Library System.

For more information, contact Ruth Hackett at 307-326-8209, or visit the Saratoga Library at 503 W. Elm in Saratoga. One may also visit carbonlibraries.org.
