As part of our Thanksgiving project, the club collected canned goods and food items for the Platte Valley Food Pantry. Members have been preparing for Christmas, and buying Christmas gifts for all the residents at Deseret Health Care and Rehab. We will be gift wrapping Dec. 17 along with a carry-in dinner. The nursing home will give our gifts at their party, Dec. 19. The chairpersons for the project are Barbara Youngberg and Valerie Mason.
The Kiwanis Club is also buying gifts for a family from the Giving Tree, chairperson Dave Gloss will be busy with the project.
