Cold weather affects attendance

There were six people at the Saratoga Senior Center to play Bingo this week. Two-dollar winners were Berneil McCord, Winnie Allen, Madaline Forbes, and Pat Faust. Sue Howe won the $3 blackout round.

There were four people here for Bridge on Monday. The high winner was Joni Johnson.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of James Roberts. Jim passed away last week. He will be missed by all of us who knew him. He was always entertaining when he was here at our center.

We have sincerely missed the four or five people who usually come over once or twice a week for lunch.

It has just been way too cold for them to get out, except for Nadine Caleb. She is a real trooper. She loves us too much to stay home and we really appreciate that. Everyone is always looking for her to come with the pink Caddy, with the horn.

We will be serving breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Dec. 24 and will be closed for lunch. Please be sure to let us know if you will be needing a meal for Wednesday. We will be closed so our staff can spend the day with their families.
