Panthers get rammed, dogged in regional tournament

The Saratoga Lady Panthers wrapped up their 2013 season with an overall 16-12 season record.

The Panthers lost their two games against Big Horn and Sundance at last weekend's regional tournament in Wright, but won four more games than they lost for 2013. Coach Shayley Love said her group of girls had a great season overall and finished strong.

"They met some goals they set for themselves and improved their record from last year," she said. "As far as regional tournament, they had up and down moments. If we could have gotten all six players to click at one time I think the outcome of our tournament would have been very different, but I'm still proud of all of them."

Love also congratulated her seniors for a tournament well-played.

"The seniors finished strong, they all had a great regional tournament and I am very proud of how they helped to establish this program this season," she said. "I would also like to mention the support of parents and fans was awesome this year. We appreciate everything this community has done for us."
