Seniors enjoy pizza party

There were five people here for Bingo Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Berneil McCord, Winnie Allen and Grace Johnston.

Sue Howe won the $4 blackout round; thank you Winnie Allen for watching my card.

There were three tables for Duplicate Bridge on Monday. High winners were Gertrude Herold and Mary Alice Sjoden.

Second high went to Mariel O’Grady and Marilyn Walck.

We will be having music up here again on Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. So be sure to mark your calendar and come join us. You will not be disappointed. This will be the last time they will be here until next summer.

The turnout for the pizza party was not too bad. After dinner we all played “Lets Make a Deal”. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. We had some baked goods, a few gag gifts and Jane came riding in on a broom. It was one of the final gifts of the day. Ed chose it. They all got a big laugh out of it. So all in all I think the day was a big success. Our pizzas were made by Platte River Pizza. They were just wonderful. And the minnows were a hit as well. Thank you Mike McWain and your staff for such a great job. And thanks Jane Fluty, Sandy Bennett and Winnie for all the work you put into the day. It was fun.

We have all missed Bob and Grace Johnston. They have both been under the weather. Hopefully they will be back this coming week.
