Fall book sale in progress


One person’s old used book can be another person’s treasure at the Saratoga Friends of the Library-sponsored Fall Book Sale this week.

The book sale is open to all and runs until Oct. 4. Ruth Hackett, Saratoga Library Branch Manager, said people can donate books for the sale, and all prices and sales are determined by donation.

She said the money from the book sales will be used toward library equipment and programs.

“We’ll take pretty much all books, except for things like old encyclopedias or textbooks, and the money goes to things the library needs like furniture and other items...
