Hitting one out of the park

If fundraisers are measured by the amount of people who attend, then the Ryan Park Fundraiser was a huge success this weekend, with more than 350 people attending.

“We had 311 paying adults,” organizer Donna Beach said.

Another successful part of the fundraiser was the Ryan Park Volunteer Calendar, which featured the area’s history. The idea to high Ryan Park’s history via calendar was partially concocted by Ryan Park resident Carol Beach. The calendar, designed by Dick Perue, sold for $12 each.
