There were seven here to play bingo Tuesday. $2 winners were Pat Faust, Madaline Forbes, Dorothy Miller, Dee Miller, and Winnie Allen. Dorothy Miller won the $5 blackout round.
There were three tables for Duplicate Bridge this week. High winners were Janet Donaland & Bob Johnson. Second high went to John Blue & Pat Bailey.
Don’t for get we will be having the music jamboree up here every other Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. It has been so enjoyable and we keep getting more entertainers and the audience keeps growing every time. So mark your calendar and come join us. The next one will be Aug. 27.
I do have the forms for the Elderly and Disabled Tax Program. The qualifications for this are: you must be at least 65 years old, or turned 18 in 2012 and are totally disabled or lived in the state of Wyoming for the year 2012, and had income of $17,500 or less for a single person, or $28,500 or less for a married couple. So if you have these qualifications, please stop in and get a form or call ahead and I will be happy to help you fill them out. You need to have them postmarked no latter than the Aug. 31.
I have several seniors that cannot live at their homes unless they have someone to come and stay with them. If you would be interested in doing that please call the center and I will get you in touch with them.
We started playing Right Left and Center on Wednesday. We had 11 here this past Wednesday. We will be playing every Wednesday after lunch. All you need to bring is three quarters for each game. Dick Perue won a round and so did Dorothy Miller.
It was so nice to have Ruth Brock, and Jerry and Della Ward here with us Friday. They are here cleaning out some of the stuff in Ruth’s house. They will be here for a few more days so we hopefully will get to see them again.
We had a fair turnout for the birthday dinner. Those having birthdays this month are Bob Johnston, Berneil McCord, John Craig, Orley Roberts, John Glode, Judy Babel, Ruth Doherty, Elaine Burge, John Moore, and Carol Cook. Also, we had two couples with Anniversaries this month, they were Herm and Sherry Weinert and Bill and Jane Fluty. John Craig won the birthday tree. Teense Willford was the entertainment again this month and he is so much fun to have here. We always enjoy him being here.
