Cheers: Steinley Cup returns to Snake River at this years Microbrewfest

Snake River Brewing Co. took the Steinley Cup for a second year in a row Saturday with its Pako’s India Pale Ale (IPA).

“This one is for Wyoming,” said Auggie Katzer with Little Snake River Brewing Co. “We are happy to represent Wyoming for a second year in a row.”

Prairie Fire Brewery in Gillette, took the people’s choice with its Prairie Fire IPA.

This is the first year the Saratoga-Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce made IPA a competing brew in the competition.

Crimmins said the event was a success thanks to all the brewers, good weather and all the volunteers who helped set up for the event.

“We couldn’t have done it with the huge amount of volunteers that we had,” she said. “It is a big endeavor.”
