Heston revolver for sale at Sagebrush and Six Shooters

Keith Bailey’s Colt .45, one of only 25 models made, will be auctioned off at the upcoming “Sagebrush and Six Shooters, Party on the Platte” sixth-anniversary celebration Sept. 21. The first gun in the series was given to late actor and former NRA President Charlton Heston. The gun came in a display case made to resemble a bound version of the Bill of Rights.

Gun enthusiasts have the chance to get their grip on a rare and unique six-shooter next month.

Keith Bailey, Saratoga summer resident, said he will be donating the single-action Colt .45 at the “Sagebrush and Six Shooters, Party on the Platte” sixth anniversary celebration and auction for the Platte Valley Community Center Foundation. Bailey said the six-shooter gun was the 23rd out of only 25 models made. The first one made was given to late actor and former National Rifle Association President Charlton Heston.
