Chili Cook-Off to spice up Kathy Glode Park

Those with a spicy tooth or secret homemade chili recipe can participate in the annual Chili Cook-Off Competition at Kathy Glode Park next week.

Stacy Crimmins, Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, said this year’s fundraising chili competition is set for Aug. 17 at Kathy Glode Park in Saratoga, and is part of the Steinley Cup Microbrew Competition. There are four categories in the cook-off, consisting of red chili, green chili, salsa and tortillas. Judging begins before the brewfest gate opens to the public at 1 p.m.
