Barbecue a success

There were five here to play bingo Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Pat Faust, Winnie Allen, Grace Johnston, and Janet Lasco. Pat Faust won the $5 blackout round.

There were three tables for Duplicate Bridge this week. High winners were John Blue and Mariel O’Grady. Second high went to Marianna Blue and Pat Bailey.

We had our barbecue up here on Saturday. We had a great turnout and the entertainment was so enjoyable. Thank you to all of them. And thank you to Ed for cooking the hamburgers. Everyone really enjoyed them.

Don’t forget, we will be having the music jamboree up here every other Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. It has been so enjoyable, and we keep getting more entertainers and the audience keeps growing every time. So mark your calendar and come join us. The next jam session is Aug. 13.

I do have the forms for the Elderly and disabled tax program. The qualifications for this are:you must be at least 65 years old, or turned 18 in 2012 and are totally disabled, lived in the state of Wyoming for the year 2012 and had income of $17,500 or less for a single person, and $28,500 or less for a married couple. If you have these qualifications, please stop in and get a form or call ahead and I will be happy to help you fill them out.

I have several seniors that can not live at their homes unless they have someone to come and stay with them. If you would be interested in doing that please call the center and I will get you in touch with them.

We started playing Right Left and Center on Wednesday. It was fun. We had five here that day. Hopefully we will have more stay this week. We will be playing every Wednesday after lunch. All you need to bring is three quarters for each game. I lost six quarters, so bring spares.
