Bokelman makes Chancellor's List at University of Alaska Anchorage

Former Saratoga High School student Thomas Bokelman was announced to have made the 2013 Spring Semester Chancellor’s List for the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA).

Bokelman, who graduates from the University of Wyoming in 2014, made the honor roll list for earning a 4.0 grade point average from enrollment in at least 12 UAA credits as an undergraduate degree-seeking student. He spent just the 2013 spring semester at UAA, but his previous college years were at UW, where he plans to finish up in the teaching field.

“This is quite an accomplishment, I guess, and it feels pretty rewarding,” Bokelman said. “I plan to get my undergraduate degree in elementary education, and my master’s in special education.”

Scott Bokelman, Thomas’ father, said his son also made previous honor lists for good grades while at UW.

“We’re pretty proud of him, and he has made this list for the last three or four semesters now,” Scott said. “He’s a good student and a nice young man.”
