Jamie Marchetti, an Encampment native who recently graduated from the University of Wyoming, was honored for her academic performance by the UW Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Marchetti, in the Didactic Program in Nutrition and Dietetics, received the Verna J. Hitchcock Award for “Outstanding Overall Family and Consumer Sciences Student” during the department’s annual recognition ceremony.
During the event in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, faculty members honor students for outstanding academic performance and contributions to department and university organizations.
