Encampment graduates have big plans for future

 


All 11 Encampment High School graduates have big plans after college. Those who plan on going to college had the opportunity to gain a little extra money to help pay for the costs of attending college. Some of those students grabbed the opportunity by the horns and scored multiple scholarships.

Below is a list of Encampment High School graduates, their post-graduation plans and the scholarships they earned.

Mandy Harris will be attending Laramie Community College to pursue an Associates of Applied Science degree in Equine Training Management. Mandy has been awarded the following scholarships:

*Hathaway Scholarship (*Provisionally Awarded), Tri-State Scholarship, Woodchoppers Jamboree & Rodeo Queen Scholarship, Laramie County Community College Equestrian Team Scholarship, Larry & Shelia Vosser Scholarship, Kent & Norma Jean Fogg Scholarship, Carbon County 4-H Participation and Excellence Scholarship, 4-H Clover Scholarship, 2013 Carbon County 4-H Stallion Service Auction Scholarship, Xi Beta Delta Scholarship, Encampment/Riverside Lion’s Club Queen Scholarship, Encampment Beef Committee Scholarship, Ben Romios Memorial Scholarship

Lucas Jarrett will be attending Michigan State University to pursue a degree in Communications. He has been awarded the following scholarships: *Hathaway Scholarship (*Provisionally Awarded), Carbon Power and Light Scholarship, National FFA Scholarship From AGCO Dealer, STARR Charitable Foundation Scholarship, State FCCLA Scholarship, Eagle Plumbing & Construction Scholarship, 4-H Scholarship, National Museum of Wildlife Art Traveling Trout Scholarship

A.J. Kuster will be attending Laramie County Community College to pursue a double certification program in welding and automotive. He has been awarded the following scholarships: *Hathaway Scholarship (*Provisionally Awarded), Mitch Birch Football Scholarship, E-Club Scholarship, National Museum of Wildlife Art Traveling Trout Scholarship

Ashley Loftice will be attending Laramie County Community College to pursue an Associates of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She has been awarded the following scholarships: *Hathaway Scholarship (*Provisionally Awarded), Vera Oldman Memorial Scholarship

Waddie Love will be attending the University of Wyoming to pursue a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. He has been awarded the following scholarships: *Hathaway Scholarship (*Provisionally Awarded), Daniels Fund Scholarship, National Museum of Wildlife Art Traveling Trout Scholarship, National College Football Foundation Scholarship

Gaven Pantle will be attending Laramie County Community College to pursue an Associates of Science degree in Wildlife and Conservation Management. He has been awarded the following scholarships: *Hathaway Scholarship(* Provisionally Awarded), Vera Oldman Memorial Scholarship, Valley Service Organization Scholarship, Encampment Student Council Scholarship, Xi Beta Delta Scholarship, Mitch Birch FCCLA Memorial Scholarship, Encampment/Riverside Lion’s Club Aaron Newhouse Memorial Scholarship, The Kiwanis Club of the Platte Valley Scholarship, Ben Romios Memorial Scholarship, Ben and Marie Welsh Memorial Scholarship, Encampment Beef Committee Scholarship

Kayla Rizor will be attending Mesa State College to pursue an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. She has been awarded the following scholarship: Hathaway Scholarship (*Provisionally Awarded)

Tate Terrill will be attending Laramie County Community College to pursue an Associates of Applied Science degree in Rodeo Production Management. She has been awarded the following scholarships: Lonnie Sifford Scholarship

Kyle Wessel will be attending the University of Wyoming to pursue a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been awarded the following scholarships: *Hathaway Scholarship (*Provisionally Awarded), Vera Oldman Memorial Scholarship, Encampment Student Council Scholarship, E-Club Scholarship, Dorthy Wolfard Memorial Scholarship, Ben Romios Memorial Scholarship

Ben Green will be going into the United States Navy and Michel Grauer will be joining the United States Air Force.
