Town of Encampment approves bid for water project

The Encampment Town Council approved a bid from a Cheyenne construction company’s for Encampment’s Emergency Water Supply Project Thursday night.

Merrill Incorporated, a Cheyenne construction company, was approved for the bid and granted a notice of award for the project by the town council. Merrill Inc.’s bid was $120,322, the lowest of the three bids that PMPC Civil Engineers received.

Ken Schwerdt of PMPC said he was grateful to receive three bids for the project set to begin this summer.
