Prayer Shawl Knitters earn Women of Distinction Award
In recognition of his outstanding community service efforts, Encampment High School senior Gaven Pantle received the 2013 Youth Citizenship Award from members of the Valley Service Organization (VSO) in Saratoga.
Pantle was honored with the award at the recent VSO meeting and luncheon last Thursday at the Hotel Wolf. He received a framed certificate and $500 contribution from the VSO, and expressed his eagerness to the use money toward his college education this fall.
