If you are 60 or older, or the spouse of someone 60 or older, you are eligible to join us for lunch for the low donation of just $3 a meal. We feel that is a great price for a meal this size. Give us a call and come join us. Tickets make a great gift for that hard to buy for person.

We had our first music jamboree here last Tuesday. There were only nine people here for the entertainment. But they said it was great and they had a lot of fun. We will try it again for a week or two, then we will probably go to once a month. Please come and enjoy the music. If you sing or play an instrument please come and share with the people. They are looking for any local talent, and everyone is welcome to join in. It is just for fun and to meet new people.

We do have the property tax refund papers, so if you did not get them in the mail you can come in and pick them up. They need to be in by June 3. We had a fair turnout for our birthday anniversary dinner Friday. Those having birthdays this month are Mary Alice Sjoden, Ed Howe, Carole Ward, Sue Bartlett, John D’Amico, and Mary Beth Jellen. Ed Howe won the birthday tree. Anniversaries this month are Bill and Claudia Bartlett. Teense Willford was here for our entertainment pleasure. We enjoy him very much.

We had our flea market here Saturday. It turned out very well. A lot of people brought stuff and donated to the center. And a few set up their table and had their own sale. It worked out very well to do it that way. It was so much fun. I want to thank all the people who donated their time to set up, help with managing it and taking everything down. I know I can always count on these guys for anything I might need help with. You are a terrific bunch of people. Thank you all.

We want to send our get well wishes to Alberta Welton. She is having some medical issues and is in Gillette getting rehab. That is where her daughter Charlotte lives. We wish her well and to hurry and get back home.
