Voices of the Valley deliver fresh perspective

Voices of the Valley is bringing a new perspective to its next meeting on Wednesday.

VOV is bringing in two guest speakers, Bart Myers and Laurie Latta, who both have experienced the impacts of large energy development.

Both will have formal presentations and tell their stories about living in an area affected by energy development, said VOV coordinator KayCee Alameda.

“These are people that are on the ground that lived through it,” Alameda said. “They will bring a different perspective than those who are experts in energy development.”
