Multi-Cultural Day: Saratoga High School hosted a multi- cultural day Thursday that included diverse learning activities and the Wind River Dancers

Performers from Wyoming Indian schools in Ethete entertained Saratoga students last Thursday with their number of spiritual and sacred Native American dances.

The dancing students came from Wyoming Indian High, Middle and Elementary schools, and performed for students from Saratoga High, Middle and Elementary schools in the high school’s gymnasium. The presentation was led by Chico Her Many Horses, a teacher and coach at Wyoming Indian High School, and featured several dances from students dressed in ceremonial Native American clothing.

Students including Keegan Her Many Horses, Kianna Wallowing Bull, Trayshon Spoonhunter, and Delacina Chief Eagle provided various styles of dancing. Other students from the school chanted and provided the drum beat for the dances on a large Native American tom-tom drum.
