Bobbie Swales, of Encampment, passed away at the age of 74, on Feb. 2, 2013, at Memorial Hospital of Carbon County following a short illness.
She was born in Walnut Ridge, Ark., on March 20, 1938.
Bobbie is survived by her siblings; Charles Crabaugh, Virgie Hamett, Bonnie Pothier and Wendie Fallert. Also surviving are her children Betty Mitchell, Synthia Smith, Richard McCrea and Thomas Tomnitz; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her best friend, Allen Kirby.
