Encampment School Homecoming

The Encampment school will be holding their 2013 homecoming this week.

This year’s theme is “Going for the High Score: Video Games”. Several activities are planned for the week.

Monday through Friday are dress-up days for students and staff. Monday was “pajama day”, Tuesday was “video game day”, Wednesday is “would you still be my friend if I wore this day”, Thursday is “celebrity day” and Friday is “red and black day”.

The Encampment Student Council will be hosting “penny wars” again this year. The money raised from the penny wars will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

The penny wars will start Monday and run through Wednesday at 8 a.m.

Kindergarten through 12th grade will compete to see who can raise the most money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The winning class will receive recognition and an award at the pep assembly Friday at 2:30 p.m.

Each class will be decorating a wall using the theme for homecoming, and the walls will be judged on Friday morning. The public is invited to view the wall on Friday and Saturday.

The Encampment Tigers will host Farson-Eden on Friday at 4 p.m., and Cokeville on Saturday at noon.

Coronation will be held between the boy’s JV and varsity game - around 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The annual cake action will also be held immediately following the games on Saturday (approximately 5 p.m.). Anyone interested in donating a cake can drop it off at the music room between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, 9 p.m.until midnight at the Opera House.
