Good turnout for birthday dinner

There were just five for bingo this week. Two-dollar winners were Grace Johnston, Winnie Allen and Merle Starr. Winnie won the $4 blackout round.

There were two tables for duplicate bridge on Monday. High winners were Glee Johnson and Lee Groshart. There was a tie for second high between Mary Alice Sjoden and Barb Wise and Gertrude Herold and Kristi Groshart.

We are always happy to deliver you a meal if you are under the weather or have been in the hospital. Please give us a call at 326-5564 and we will do our best to help you. If you are 60, or the spouse of someone 60, you are eligible to join us for lunch for the low donation of just $3 a meal. We feel that is a great price for a meal this size. So give us a call and come join us. Tickets make a great gift for that hard to buy for person.

We had our birthday dinner Friday. We had a pretty good turnout. Those having birthdays this month are Grace Johnston, Sue Howe, Merle Starr, Joy Hamilton, Jack Riddick, J.R Henslee, Donna Zeiger, Jim Davis, Mae Harris, Barbara Heater and Trudy Karstoft.

J.R. Henslee won the birthday tree. Teense was not able to join us this month because of a previous engagement. We missed him, but he said he would try to come some day during the month. We hope he can.

It was very nice to have John and Melcine Craig here for the birthday dinner. We do not get to see them very often, and they use to be here everyday.

It was very nice to meet Brian, the new reporter for the Saratoga Sun. He came and took our picture this month.

We will be having a baked potato dinner on Feb. 2 at noon. So be sure and mark your calendar and come join us. It will be one of our make-up meals for the year.
