With senior wrestlers at home taking ACTs, it was up to younger Saratoga grapplers to make a statement Dec. 8 at the Soroco Invitational, in Oak Creek, Colo.
Five Saratoga wrestlers placed in four different weight classes at the tournaments’ conclusion.
In the 106-weight class, Bradley Bifano and Daynon Mowry placed first and third respectively.
“It is good to have guys of equal quality in the same weight class,” coach Jared Mason said.
Bifano ruled his weight class, pinning a trio of Colorado wrestlers, proving the adage, “you can’t win on your back.”
