Tigers roll through Rock River; squeak by North Park


The Encampment Tigers men’s basketball team came off of last week with two wins and will roll into the upcoming scheduled games with a 5-0 record. The Tigers beat Rock River and North Park, both games on the road.

“We got two good wins under our belt,” coach Dan Kraft said. “We try to get better all the time.”

Rock River’s Keith Smith tried to stump the Tigers by scoring 26 points, but the Tiger’s Waddie Love staved off Rock River with 23 points of his own. Backed by key efforts from teammates A.J. Kuster and Kyle Wessel, Love also tallied eight rebounds.
